Department of Transport. Drink Driving

How on earth do you keep hammering home the message that you really shouldn't drink and drive? Well take a look at this that we shot. It's called 'pub loo shocker' for a very good reason. As a viral it's been, and still is incredibly successful. It's already had over 10 million hits and still counting. Brace yourselves.

This Drink Drive commercial was one that preyed on your mind long after you'd seen it. Blood and gore wasn't having any effect on those responsible for having the odd couple...or even one before they got in their car. So let's demonstrate what they stand to lose.

Any resemblance to Jack Nicholson becoming slightly schizophrenic in the film 'The Shining' is purely intentional.

The following ideas for Drink Drive are ways of getting the message across other than TV.

The first three pieces of work are radio commercials. We went into a police station and recorded everything that happened should you be taken into the station after drinking and driving.

Each ad ran consecutively which added to the power.

This campaign won prizes at Cannes, London International Awards and the Clios as well as the top prize at The Ariel Awards.

In this concept we attached a criminal crime number slate on mirrors in gents toilets. As you stood washing your hands the illusion was complete.

Gents toilet signs were altered to remind blokes not to drink and drive.

A neat little idea for drink drive. We put what looked like pints of lager in the cup holder on cinema seats, and when the cinema goers opened the fake pint they received the message.

A few little online banner ads for Drink Drive with a neat little twist.
